We are missing centuries of history of the region between Mirkwood and the Misty Mountains. Galadriel was to the south, Beorn was to the north, the Mines of Moria to the west, Mirkwood to the east. And in the middle was Radagast, the Ring and the Stoors. Perhaps Radagast kept things under control in those wild, rural areas. Perhaps he helped Bilbo's ancestors to cross the mountains. Perhaps he helped create Beorn's ponies. He has his animal spies, especially with the eagles. Not everyone can play the lead, and as a stage hand in charge of fauna, he did his small part, successfully avoiding detection. Gandalf was busy in populated areas of the western Middle Earth, and that's the story we were told. I suspect Bill the Pony had help from Radagast. Had the Fellowship gone over the mountain , the Brown Wizard may have been able to help.

After Sauron's fall, he might have shape-shifted into a bird and had the power to fly to the West, or gone on a later boat, such as Legolas's or from the Grey Havens, or he may have stayed in Middle Earth as a benevolent being, a lesser Tom Bombadil. Perhaps, as another poster wrote, he eventually faded into the environment and thereby blessed it, his true mission finally fulfilled.

There has to be a way for a ghost to come onto the property for Sas. We've seen the car ghost, who was tied to her car, the baseball player for Alberta, Patience, and now Chris. The cholera ghosts apparently don't have anyone Sas would be interested in. Sas isn't looking for a short term relationship, which makes it harder as a ghost, especially if the ghost would dissolve like Pete does. We'll be seeing more from Patience, maybe she has someone in her yet-to-see community who would be Sas's love.

In the books, there were the four main witches as described in the article. However, there was a least one other witch, who created the Patchwork Girl and Jack Pumpkinhead, using the Powder of Life. There were others, if not actually described as witches, who unquestionably used witchcraft.

There's the other Ten, the one-hearted one (cloned from his hand) slowly dying (as we all are doing), with Rose Tyler on some parallel location. I doubt if we'll visit them. That was another way he stayed on.

Georgie had two ex-wives. Will someone innocently (or not) enter or reenter the picture?

Mandy has a backstory of her work as a weather girl at a television station, and leaving because of the station manager. Did she really leave because he was a creep, or was it an affair that she quit, with Georgie as her rebound? Is CeeCee really a Cooper?

Audrey is still annoyed that her daughter appears to have settled and wants her to do better. Lots of things going on, the tire store angle having multiple facets.

Correction: Sheldon moved to California. I doubt if he came home on holidays, or school breaks, and Mary likely didn't go out to see him, so it would have been very difficult to change her time and smothering over to a surly daughter who has justified anger issues.

There is another person who can see at least one of the ghosts: Mark's son. I think he was in only one episode and the adults ignored him. One of the ghosts said that some children can see ghosts, because of some reason, but that they outgrow it. I think it was Thor, foreshadowing his and Hettie's backstory. But--now hear me out--what if the boy doesn't outgrow it?

The War Doctor saw Moment with Rose's features, a premonition of sorts, especially as he asked if they would meet and maybe even kiss in the future. She implied that there would be more than just kissing. So Nine and later Ten knew on some level that someone who looked like her, had a spirit like her, would be there, in the future.

Mark's son saw the ghosts, or at least Isaac, in the first season. One of the ghosts explained that some children can see ghosts but they outgrow it, or something to that effect.

Whatever happened to Alberta and Alexa? That might be a way for Bela to communicate with the ghosts. Also, Mark's son has seen at least one ghost on the property, wouldn't he be seeing other ghosts elsewhere too, and maybe have a way of dealing with that "gift"?
