See All10 Things Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock Holmes Movies Did Better Than The BBC Show
These movies were so much fun, so beautiful, so funny, and charming. I’ve been loving Holmes and Watson movies for five decades now and these two movies are my absolute favorites. RDJ and Jude Law have chemistry like no others and the sort of give and take that brings a long time natural friendship to life. The best pairing I’ve seen since Christopher Plummer and James Mason.
The BBC modern Holmes was all right but Holmes fits better in his time period and the only part of the BBC Holmes I liked was the one set in the past. The two actors had some decent chemistry, but nothing like RDJ and Law. Not even close.
Please let there be a third movie! I’d love to see them in action again.
Great list!
Are RDJ's Sherlock Holmes movies better than Benedict Cumberbatch's series?
Yes, they are. MUCH better.
