How Good Omens Season 3 Can End On A Satisfying Note
Expectations Are High For Aziraphale And Crowley's Ultimate Ending
Even before it was turned into a television show, Good Omens had a sizable fanbase that enjoyed the hilarious adventures of Aziraphale and Crowley, the unlikely friends at the center of its story. The first season sparked delighted responses online, but it was season 2 that truly gave viewers what they had wanted. At the end of Good Omens season 2, Crowley its his true feelings to Aziraphale and kisses him, but the two end up parting when they cannot agree over Aziraphale's new position in Heaven.
After the betrayal Crowley felt at the end of season 2, Aziraphale will need to do a lot to make it up to him, and that particular storyline could prove to be the most satisfying one of all.
Because Good Omens is one of the rare television shows that made its fan-favorite queer couple canon, there are high expectations for how season 3 will conclude the story. Aziraphale and Crowley have often been on opposite sides due to their statuses as an angel and a demon, respectively, but the second season's ending was their biggest rift yet. Presumably, their reunion in season 3 will be emotional, but it cannot come too quickly. Gaiman, returning as the series' primary writer, will likely want to build up anticipation for the moment when they finally come together again.

Good Omens Timeline Explained: Everything That Happens In Chronological Order
Good Omens' eternity-spanning story is told out of order - and it gets quite confusing. Here's the full timeline in chronological order.
Aziraphale and Crowley will encounter many obstacles before they can truly be happy together, and those will involve the former's new job in Heaven and the impending second apocalypse. In order to make Good Omens season 3 a truly satisfying end to the show, the two main characters need to end up together, but they also need their development to feel realistic. After the betrayal Crowley felt at the end of season 2, Aziraphale will need to do a lot to make it up to him, and that particular storyline could prove to be the most satisfying one of all.
