The X-Men's Storm is one of the most beloved and famous comics characters of all time, first introduced in 1975's Giant-Size X-Men #1 by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum. Storm is part of the "Second Genesis" team of mutants formed by Professor Xavier in the wake of Krakoa's capture of the original X-Men team. Rian Gonzalez's cover, which she painted using gouache - a type of watercolor - highlights Storm's iconic new Krakoan Era costume that solo Storm series by Ann Nocenti. Gonzalez also includes the beloved Jim Lee all-white '90s costume, made even more famous due to Storm wearing it in the fan-favorite TV show X-Men: The Animates Series, as well as the classic blue and yellow X-Men suit Storm has sported several times.
