With he fired Sous Chef Anthony Bird, who was constantly at odds with Head Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph. Alesia's respectful and open-minded attitude restored harmony to the kitchen, and soon after her arrival, Alesia found happiness of her own with Deckhand Johnny Arvanitis.

Johnny itted he’d always avoided boatmances in an effort to keep his personal life private. However, that all went out the window when he fell for Alesia as soon as he laid eyes on her. The two entered a sweet and careful relationship, communicating openly and taking things slowly. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding caused Johnny to spiral out of control, resulting in his shocking removal from the ship. With Johnny no longer by her side, Alesia is falling into negativity, and her untarnished reputation is at risk.

Alesia Got Into Bed With Wihan

Alesia and Johnny’s love story came to a crashing halt after Alesia drunkenly crawled into bed with Wihan, thinking he was Johnny. Johnny arrived at just the wrong moment and, finding his girlfriend in bed with his superior, he lost his temper. Johnny began screaming at Wihan and punched the wall, leading Captain Jason to remove him from the boat and ultimately fire him.

Some weren’t entirely convinced Alesia’s mistake was innocent, and they wondered how she could possibly mistake Wihan for Johnny.

While the crew was quick to assure Alesia she wasn’t at fault for Johnny’s loss of control, viewers had questions. Some weren’t entirely convinced Alesia’s mistake was innocent, and they wondered how she could possibly mistake Wihan for Johnny. However, I’m positive Wihan deserves equal blame, if not more, considering he put his arm around Alesia and didn’t respond when she stated Johnny’s name over and over. Johnny was a favorite on Below Deck Down Under season 3, and with many fans devastated to see him go, Alesia became an easy scapegoat.

Alesia Has Drama With Tzarina

Their Once-Close Relationship Has Soured

As Alesia suffers in Johnny’s absence, she’s also facing an increasingly hostile work environment. Her harmonious relationship with Tzarina grew strained after Tzarina became jealous of Alesia’s bond with Chief Stew Lara Rigby. This caused Tzarina to ice Alesia out, making her walk on eggshells in the kitchen as she wondered what she’d done wrong.

I suspect that part of Tzarina and Alesia’s falling out stems from Tzarina’s attraction to Wihan. She may be silently blaming Below Deck Down Under's Alesia Harris for the situation with Johnny and Wihan. Tzarina is also overly sensitive, which can be a delicate position as a department head. Tzarina’s coldness is making Alesia look bad, and it’s robbing her of her closest ally on board.

Alesia’s Flirtation With Nate Could Be Viewed As A Betrayal

Viewers May Not Take Well To Her Moving On Quickly

The Below Deck Down Under mid-season trailer suggests matters are about to get even worse for Alesia. Just days after Johnny was fired, Alesia began flirting with new Bosun Nate Salmon. At the same time, the cameras made sure to document her texts to Johnny, telling him how much she missed him. The teaser puts a heavy focus on Alesia getting closer to Nate, and she can be heard rationalizing, “Johnny’s gone.

The preview seems to imply that Alesia is cheating on Johnny with Nate. However, it’s unclear how serious she and Johnny ever were and whether they remained committed after his departure. Neither was looking for a serious relationship, and their romance seemed to be purely happenstance. I don’t think Alesia should be blamed for moving on with Nate, and it’s unfair to paint their blossoming romance in a shameful light. With Wihan gone, Below Deck Down Under needs a new villain, and I’m concerned producers are going out of their way to make Alesia the next bad guy.
