March 8th's Wordle answer can be a bit tricky, but shouldn't cause too much trouble for players. Wordle is a word-guessing game that is played on a 5x6 grid and has players attempting to guess a five-letter word within six guesses. The game has grown in popularity throughout the year due to its simple mechanics, once-a-day playstyle, and excellent social media sharing ability.
To play a game of Wordle players will need to choose a random starting word and enter it into the top of the grid. Based on what was guessed the game will provide hints to steer the player in the correct direction. If a box is highlighted green that means the letter is correct and in the right position, yellow shows a correct letter in the wrong position, and grey indicates that the letter is not in the answer at all. Using this information players need to figure out the correct answer within six guesses. Normally players may use any five-letter word they wish but Wordle also provides a 'Hard Mode' which can be accessed from the options menu and adds a bit more critical thinking to the game.
The popularity of Wordle can easily be traced back to its social media presence. After a puzzle is completed players have the opportunity to share their results. Wordle utilized small colored emoji boxes to show the player's journey to the correct answer without actually spoiling any of the words guessed. This ambiguity only served to draw more players into the game in attempts to do better than their friends in this simple word-guessing game.

Wordle 262 Answer (March 8)
If the clues weren't enough to give it away, today's Wordle is SWEET. For our starting word today we went with IRATE which provided us two correct letters with incorrect placement. Next we tried TOYED, this showed us the correct placement for 'E' and added a few more letters to list that are not used. STEEL was guess number three and set up most of the word from there. For our fourth guess, we went with SHEET which led us to the correct answer, SWEET.
Although not a difficult word, many of these repeated letter puzzles can catch people off-guard. Luckily, the double 'E' is fairly common and we solved today's Wordle in five guesses.
