January 27th's Wordle memes have started popping up, proving it has set itself into the public consciousness.
The rules of Wordle are pretty straightforward and easily learned after a few attempts. Players need to guess a single five-letter word within six guesses. After entering the first guess the website highlights certain letters green if they are correct, yellow if they are correct but in the wrong spot, or grey if they are not in the word at all. With this information, players need to try to figure out the word within the six guesses to be successful. Having a strong Wordle starting word is important as some will offer much more information than others.
Players can share their daily Wordle answer attempts on social media through a function on the website. Clicking the green 'Share' button after successfully, or unsuccessfully, guessing the word will automatically copy the attempt to the player's clipboard. This includes each attempt, represented by simple boxes, and doesn't actually reveal the answer so as not to spoil it for others. With the information copied, players can go to their favorite social media and paste the information for their network. This is most definitely the secret to Wordle's success, with so many people every day sharing their little boxes for the world to see.

Before giving away today's Wordle answer, some players may just want a small hint to push them in the right direction. For this, we have provided three hints to help players who don't want to directly be told what the Thursday word is.

Wordle 222 Answer (January 27)
If the hints didn't give it away, today's Wordle for January 27th is MOUNT. The use of a less common vowel could have stumped a few players out there, so a solid Wordle starting word is essential to success. For this particular puzzle we used "ROAST," which gave us the vowel and end letter in their proper spots. From there it was important to what letters are not in the puzzle, our next attempt was "COUNT." This basically gave way to the correct answer as each letter, except the first, was green.
Wordle continues to be a viral hit through 2022 with its daily puzzle that anyone can enjoy. It's the perfect start to the morning or can provide an enjoyable little brain-burner to break up the day.
