Winners from each round eventually faced off until one final champion emerged. Along the way, there were plenty of twists, including the dreaded wheel of misfortune and creative punishments that kept the pressure high. Battle Camp Season 1 Challenges Explained

They Were Quite Tough

Battle Camp season 1 featured three teams of four contestants each, with cast expected to rack up three major wins to stay in the game. To do that, they had to endure brutal punishments, take on “unbeatable” challenges, and strategize their way through each episode to avoid being voted out, as shown in the Netflix trailer above. The season kicked off with a lakeside challenge that had players donning bathing suits and competing in water relay races. In the first challenge, the Eagles lost despite looking quite strong.

Lexi Goldberg accidentally failed to give Lorenzo Nobilio a flag despite him being first on the pole, so they couldn't complete the challenge, with Wolves ultimately winning the first challenge. Throughout the season, contestants battled each other, and the dreaded wheel determined the looming threat of elimination. Until episode 5, every eliminated player was replaced with a new contestant, keeping the competition unpredictable and intense.

Irina Solomonova's Heartbreaking Elimination

Her Teammates Betrayed Her

If anyone experienced one of the most brutal eliminations in Battle Camp season 1, it was Irina Solomonova from Love Is Blind season 4. She was sent home in episode 3 after her name landed on the wheel 13 times—shockingly, 11 of those votes came from her own squad. Speaking to People, Irina said she felt utterly blindsided and itted she was "at a loss for words."

The unanimous decision to vote her out was surprising. In episode 2, Irina left the competition after finding out the group had initially voted to eliminate her, only to return for the elimination ceremony in episode 3 after much convincing from the host, Taylor. She also shared that her co-stars’ behavior the night before felt off, which only made sense in hindsight after she was voted out.

Who Got Eliminated From Battle Camp Season 1?

Several Contestants Were Voted Out Of The Competition

Lexi from Team Eagles was eliminated in episode 2. As she exited, she shared her belief that her teammate, Antonio "Tony" Alejandro Castellanos, voted her out. In a surprising twist, Taylor revealed that Selling The OC would be stepping in to replace Lexi. The episode ended emotionally, with Irina in tears after discovering her teammates had voted against her. Gabriella "Gabi" Butler was eliminated in episode 4. This came after her win in the steps challenge, where she garnered 8504 steps in Battle Camp episode 3 Full Throttle challenge.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger after the campers cast their votes. Morgan Simianer arrived to replace Gabi, and later, Tony from the Eagles team self-eliminated, noting that he couldn't see himself navigating through the competition. In Battle Camp episode 5, Brianna "Bri" Balram and Louis Russell went home after Taylor introduced a twist to the game involving double elevations. Giovanne "Gio" Helou and Avori Henderson went home in episode 7 after Battle Camp episode 6 ended on a cliffhanger. Wheel of fortune landed on a contestant's name but didn't reveal who.

Battle Camp episode 8, Loose Lips Sink Ships, led to Morgan's elimination from the competition after the wheel stopped on her name. This left Kyle Fuller regretting why he hadn't taken out Trey Plutnicki and tearing up, talking to fellow The Circle contestant QT, saying that they had worked hard to get Trey's team to vote for him. However, in episode 9, Kyle went home with his elimination, casting outrage among Chase DeMoor and his teammates. Chase had flipped at the last minute, choosing to vote for Trey instead of Kyle, but openly said he couldn't betray his friend.

After Kyle's elimination, the teams were dismantled, allowing each person to play individually. Later, Nick Uhlenhuth was eliminated from Battle Camp after the wheel landed on his name. Trey was eliminated in the final episode, leaving the last six contestants to battle it out one last time with $250,000 on the line. While speaking to Screen Rant, Lorenzo, who convinced The Circle star QT to vote out Trey, stated that he couldn't keep him around since he was the strongest player in the game.

Battle Camp season 1, episode 10 brought together the final six contestants: Quori Tyler, Chase, Lorenzo, Shubham Goel, Polly, and Georgia Hassarati. This group made for a dynamic and well-balanced competition. However, the rules took a twist in this episode—rather than punishing the losers, Battle Camp flipped the script, with the winners’ names now on the wheel instead. The final six's first challenge was an ice bath, with the goal being to hold their breath the longest. Lorenzo, Chase, and Georgia emerged as the top three performers, earning spots on the wheel.

Things ramped up in the next round of punishments. This time, the players who logged the most steps earned a place on the wheel. But the competition turned even more intense with grueling endurance tests. In a fierce challenge, the poles that the contestants had been hanging from were removed, forcing them to rely solely on their grip strength. Dealing with a hand injury, Polly had to sit this out. Of the four remaining participants, only two made it onto the wheel. After several intense challenges, it came down to a round of strategic voting.

Shubham and QT, alumni of The Circle, voted for each other. Georgia and Lorenzo, who'd grown close throughout the season, also cast their votes for one another. Chase and Polly, the last to the group, had fewer alliances—most of their potential connections had already been eliminated. Still, Polly persuaded Chase to vote for her, and he did, evening the playing field for everyone. In the end, it all came down to the wheel of fortune. In a fitting twist, the final spin crowned Squid Game: The Challenge season 1’s player #161, Lorenzo, as the Battle Camp season 1 winner!
