VPR stars Jax Taylor and his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute and fiancé, Luke Broderick, and new friends like Jesse Lally, Michelle Sanei, Janet Caperna, and Zack Wickham.

The Valley is the perfect show for older Bravolebrities to eventually graduate to when their time on the show that made them famous ends. When they stop working at SUR, they head for The Valley to show that the drama doesn't end when they grow up a little. It's just a new type of drama, where the stakes are higher because the cast have children and marriages and mortgages. Still, if one isn't familiar with Los Angeles and its surrounding areas, it can be confusing to know where The Valley is actually filmed.

Where Is The Valley?

The Valley Refers To The San Fernando Valley

The Valley refers to the San Fernando Valley, an area located in northern Los Angeles. On a map, the Valley is located about 30 minutes away from West Hollywood, but it offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Valley offers more opportunities for young families to buy a home and raise their children in a more suburban environment. It's a typical spot that one would move after getting married or simply getting older, a natural evolution to a slower lifestyle.

Slower doesn't necessarily mean boring, as evidenced by all the drama on The Valley.

The Valley includes the cities of Burbank, Glendale, Hidden Hills, and Calabasas, as well as the neighborhoods of Northridge, Canoga Park, Encino, Reseda, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, and more. Several major Hollywood studios can be found in the Valley, like Warner Bros., Walt Disney and Universal. The Valley encomes around 260 square miles and is enclosed by various mountain ranges, including the San Gabriel Mountains.

Where Do The Cast Of The Valley Live?

The Cast Mostly Lives In The Valley

Because The Valley is a reality show, it's shot wherever the cast live and work, so the location can vary, but in this case, it's mostly contained to the Valley. Of course, the cast go on excursions, like the one they took to Santa Barbara, so the show's filming locations change depending on what the cast is doing. However, for the most part, The Valley is shot in the Valley, naturally.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Among the cast, the majority live in the Valley. Jax and Brittany's family home is in Valley Village, although, on the show, Brittany has been staying at an Airbnb nearby during their separation. In real life, Jax moved back to Hollywood following their separation, and Brittany regained residence at their home. According to The Sun, Jax's new home is close to his former VPR co-star, Tom Schwartz.

Kristen and Luke rent a home in the Valley, although they've expressed a desire to eventually leave Los Angeles to raise a family. Kristen is currently pregnant with the couples' first child. Jason Caperna and his wife Janet also live in Valley Village.

Danny Booko and wife Nia Booko's home has been a point of contention for the couple. On the show, they're living in a cramped condo in Encino with their three young children. Danny longs to buy a larger home in Santa Clarita, which is even further north, although still in Los Angeles County. Nia is resistant, although the two, who recently welcomed a fourth child, are currently living in their new $1.3 million Santa Clarita home, so clearly, Danny won that argument.

Jesse famously lives in a home near the famed Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood, although he's threatened to move to Orange County to be closer to girlfriend Lacy Nicole. His ex-wife, Michelle, moved out of their home and lives a short distance away, which makes it easier to co-parent their daughter, Isabella.

It's unclear where exactly Zack lives, although he does live in Los Angeles. As for Jasmine Goode, it's also unclear what part of Los Angeles she lives in, although she does live with her partner, Melissa Marie, in Los Angeles. And while not an official castmember on The Valley, Scheana Shay might be gunning for a permanent spot, now that her time on VPR has ended, since she and her family relocated to the Valley in late 2024.

Will The Cast Stay In The Valley?

Several Have Expressed They Want To Move

While the show is set in the Valley, clearly, not all of the stars actually live there. Jesse, Michelle and Jax live in Hollywood, while Nia and Danny recently moved to Santa Clarita. That doesn't mean they won't film, as the show will film wherever the cast move, presumably. Although, if Kristen and Luke end up leaving California, they probably wouldn't be part of the cast anymore. Jesse's threat to move to Orange County could also jeopardize his role on the show, so it remains to be seen if he was serious or trying to get under ex-wife Michelle's skin.

The Valley airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
