EDITOR'S NOTE: This article is for Wordle answer #434; the August 28th Wordle answer is available now.
Another Wordle puzzle is available, and today's answer could be a bit difficult if players aren't using a solid starting word. Today's game falls into the medium category of difficulty due to its very common use of a popular suffix. These types of puzzles can create a large number of options if the last few letters are the only ones that are shown to be correct. It's easy to lose at Wordle when the answer ends in 'ING' or 'ED'. The abundance of choices compared to the six chances to get it right creates quite a stressful situation.
For others though, the difficulty is a welcome change. Wordle has been on a bit of a streak of easiness throughout August without too many words really breaking people's brains. For those that prefer a more difficult puzzle though there are a large number of copycat games that up the difficulty from the original. Quordle is one of the most popular Wordle copycats and tasks players with completing four different Wordle puzzles at the exact same time. Whenever a player guesses a word that word is guessed through all four playable grids. Balancing each answer can prove to be quite the brain burner, and creates a glorious victory when players can get them all correct.

- Hint 3: Adding an extra 'D' to today's word would turn it into a control surface used to steer a boat.
Today's Wordle Hints (August 27th #434)
The answer to today's Wordle is RUDER.
As always, our starting Wordle word was IRATE, which didn't provide a lot of material to work with. There was an incorrectly placed 'R' and 'E', and a few wrong letters. For our second word we wanted to test if today's game was going to fall into the dreaded Wordle words that end in 'ER', and we were correct. Our second guess was ROPER, this proved the 'ER' correct and luckily, added in that extra 'R' at the beginning of the word. This helped reduce the number of options by a lot and helped us score the Wordle win-in-three with ROPER.
