When Lucy's roommate, Macy, invites her to a party and she declines, she goes alone, and dies in a drunk driving accident on the way home. However, as the show progresses, the secrets surrounding this fated night continue to unravel. Drew, who swerved his car off the road, continues to self-isolate from his friends and brother in his grief over the situation. It is eventually revealed that Stephen was in the car with Macy, and claims that Drew was in fact responsible for Macy's death, giving him the upper hand in the whole situation.
