After many years and the loss of its star, MCU is one large franchise that comprises various other franchises which mostly focus on one or a few characters.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the second entry in the Iron Man 2.

9 Thor: The Dark World (2013) - 66%

Probably one of the weakest entries in the MCU, and certainly the weakest of the sequels. Thor: The Dark World offers the audiences a lot of humor as well as some good action scenes, but little else. Those interested in seeing more of Thor and Loki won't be disappointed, but Malekith brings the movie down as one of the worst villains in the MCU.

8 Iron Man 2 (2010) - 71%

Justin Hammer eats dinner in his private hangar in Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2 sees things going well for Tony Stark and Stark Enterprises when Justin Hammer comes in to try and undermine him. Hammer hires Ivan Vanko, another genius who recreated the arc reactor technology. Tony has a secret though, he's being poisoned by the thing that powers him, and he needs to find a way to fix it before he ends up dead.

The first sequel film in the MCU tried to recreate the magic that was the first Iron Man but falls short. The action-packed plot and solid performances from the leads are standouts for most Rotten Tomatoes critics, however.

7 Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness (2022) - 74%

Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Wong (Benedict Wong), and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) running from Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

America Chavez is being chased by magical beings before she finds Doctor Strange in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness It turns out that the being chasing her is the Scarlet Witch herself, Wanda Maximoff. Having been corrupted by the Darkhold, Wanda is obsessed with stealing America's powers and searching the multiverse for her lost sons.

One of the first films in the MCU to follow-up threads from the first Even though it wasn't filled with cameos that people expected, it stumbles under the weight of all it tries to do more often than not.

6 Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015) - 76%

Ultron making a fist in Avengers Age of Ultron

Avengers: Age of Ultron follows the Avengers reuniting to take down the remaining Hydra bases around the world in search of Loki's scepter. Avengers: Age of Ultron is often considered to be the weakest of the four Avengers movies. It's overstuffed and often more focused on setting up the future of the MCU rather than delivering a compelling plot all on its own. However, the strength of seeing the team together again and some compelling new characters is enough to make it an enjoyable film despite its flaws.

5 Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) - 85%

Rocket Raccoon crying in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 picks up shortly after the first film and sees the Guardians protecting a group of aliens from a dangerous space creature. They get approached by Ego who reveals that he's Peter's father, and they go with Ego to his planet. It turns out that Ego wants to destroy all sentient life in the galaxy and the Guardians have to stop him.

Pairing Guardians of the Galaxy with its sequel would be a good double feature.

4 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) - 85%

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees Wakanda mourn the death of T'Challa. One year after the Black Panther died of a mysterious illness, Wakanda is struggling to prove that it's still a strong nation. The United States government discovered a source of Vibraniam under the ocean, which gets the attention of Namor and his kingdom of Talocan.

Following up Black Panther after the death of the lead actor was going to be difficult no matter what, but Black Panther: Wakanda Forever manages to deliver a truly poignant film that's unlikely anything in the MCU. While the film is overstuffed with everything it wants to do, the film acts as a cathartic sendoff to the character of T'Challa and the actor who played him, Chadwick Boseman. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a great entry in Phase 4.

3 Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) - 87%

Ant-Man and the Wasp has a pretty useless post-credits sene.
