Twilight has remained one of those rare pieces of media that is still relevant over a decade after its initial release. The movies have seen a recent resurgence, appropriately named the Twilight Renaissance, with Hot Topic recently releasing a new line of Twilight merch.
Fans have been rewatching and rereading the series and paying special attention to the secondary characters and couples that were glanced over in the first watch of the movies. Rosalie and Emmett especially have been getting a lot of fan attention recently, for their polar opposite personalities and love for each other. Emmett Keeping The Peace
Emmett and Rosalie may be the picture perfect example of romance, but Rosalie had a rocky start with Edward. Rosalie's past was traumatic, and it made it difficult for her to trust new people, especially men, in her life.
Emmett's love for both Edward and Rosalie was the only thing that kept the two of them from tearing each other apart. Emmett may not realize it, but his relationship with Rosalie is the backbone that keeps the peace and holds the family together.

Emmett and Rosalie were destined for each other from the moment they laid eyes on each other. Fans have had fun imagining how their first interaction went, or how they itted their love for each other.

If there's one thing Emmett and Rosalie are known for in their family, it's not keeping their hands to themselves. Edward even its this to Bella, explaining how the two of them were impossible to be around for months at the start of their relationship.
No matter how serious the situation, the two of them can almost always be found in an embrace, much to the annoyance of the rest of their family. At least it keeps Rosalie's murderous tendencies at bay.
Technically It's Not Incest
The Cullen dynamic is one of the weirder ones in the Twilight series. Technically, from the outside looking in, all the Cullen's are adoptive family, with Carlise and Esme heading up the clan.
However, they're all dating each other. Alice and Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie, and eventually Edward and Bella. They live together, and operate like a family, but aren't blood related, therefore aren't technically related. Explaining the dynamic is always a little complicated, and it's never great when someone has to justify why it isn't incest.
Rosalie's Expensive Taste
Emmett and Rosalie are one of the least expected pairs of the series. Emmett grew up in a small town, with little to his name, and no education or money. Rosalie grew up rich and privileged, the two had opposite childhoods and upbringings.
Rosalie's personality clashes with a lot of people, because of the mix of her privileged life before her life as a vampire, and her trauma. She isn't ashamed of her rich lifestyle, or her backstory, she embraces it. This is exactly why she would wear a sweater like the one shown in this meme, as often as possible.
Their Differing Views On Being A Vampire
Rosalie and Emmett may be soulmates, but they disagree on one fundamental thing. Rosalie never wanted to be a vampire, she talks about how much she hates being immortal and the things she misses from her previous life. Emmett doesn't mind being a vampire, he sees it as a second chance at life and embraces his new life.
The two sometimes have disagreements over this subject, however, their disagreements do not last long. Emmett has taught Rosalie to love certain parts of their life over the years, making her vampire life more bearable.
Rosalie's Attitude To The Cullens
Edward and Rosalie are the most volatile of all the siblings. They don't get along, and it was revealed in Midnight Sun that their sibling dynamic is much more complicated than the other siblings.
However, fans have poked fun at their relationship, especially Rosalie's attitude towards Edward. Everyday activities in the Cullen household must be hilarious for the rest of the siblings as they watched Edward and Rosalie bicker about everything, especially when Rosalie is kind to Emmett but not Edward.
Poor Edward
As previously mentioned, Rosalie and Emmett are known for their consistent PDA and making out. Perhaps no one knows this better than Edward, who was subject to their love for decades.
Fans have speculated that Edward must have struggled for years, not finding love himself, and seeing Rosalie and Emmett together. Still, it conjures a funny image, to imagine Edward trying to avoid the couple for decades, but never being able to escape their over the top make out sessions and lovey-dovey attitude.
Emmett's Taste In Women
Emmett and Rosalie's age difference isn't actually that much, especially compared to other couples in the Cullen clan. Emmett and Rosalie were both born in 1915, but Rosalie was turned in 1933, 2 years before Emmett was turned in 1935. Technically, this makes Rosalie 2 years older than him, in vampire years.
However, fans have noted that Emmett probably brings up the age difference whenever he can, to annoy Rosalie. Their relationship is seemingly built off of love, and Emmett's ever-annoying presence and humor.
Rosalie Saving Emmett
Emmett was saved by Rosalie after she found him dying due to being mauled to death by a black bear. Rosalie saved Emmett because she fell in love with him at first sight, but the rest of the family also immediately welcomed Emmett into their family.
While Rosalie was more worried about Emmett from a lovers' perspective, Esme and Carlise were thrilled to have another son in their family. With almost no hesitation Esme convinced Carlise to turn Emmett, and adopted him on the spot.
