Hulk walking away from a planet

Even without Galactus’ powers, the Hulk is Marvel's most absurdly powerful character; he is indestructible, immortal, and, in The Immortal Hulk #25, Marvel presents a version of the Hulk who is capable of shattering planets. At his highest power level, Hulk becomes a massive world-destroying being that rivals even the most powerful cosmic entities, and that doesn’t even include the cosmic power of Galactus. The Hulk’s endless rage, immense strength, and grandiose abilities, combined with Galactus' power, creates one of, if not the most deadly beings in all of Marvel, with the power to destroy entire solar systems.

Galactus may have just found his perfect herald as Hulk’s universe-destroying abilities and indestructible nature make him a prime vessel to help sate Galactus’ hunger.

The Hulk becoming Galactus’ Herald gives him the ultimate power upgrade, instantly bringing Hulk to peak strength and the apex of his abilities seen within other alternate versions of the hero such as in The Immortal Hulk. This What If…? version of the Hulk appears heroic and able to defy Galactus, but his willingness to let an entire population die at the hands of Galactus shows a more sinister side to this new Hulk variant. Galactus may have just found his perfect herald as Hulk’s universe-destroying abilities and indestructible nature make him a prime vessel to help sate Galactus’ hunger.

One issue that might come of this ground-breaking duo is Hulk’s rage, posing a hurdle for the world devourer as Hulk is known for his boundless anger. Should Galactus get the green giant under his control, such as mind-controlling him like the Silver Surfer, Hulk’s planet-shattering feats and indomitable abilities will undoubtedly become a massive problem to the universe and other dimensions. While Bruce Banner may keep a clear moral com and strive to maintain his status as a hero in light of his unprecedented galactic power, Hulk may just turn out to be Galactus most efficient herald in Marvel.
