Now, via Deadline, the first images from The Better Sister have been revealed. Several images showcase Elizabeth Banks and Jessica Biel's characters together, including one of the sisters seemingly reacting to news of the murder, followed by the two sisters on the steps of a courthouse. Other images show Jessica Biel's Chloe, a high-profile media executive, covered in blood while being questioned by Kim Dickens and Bobby Naderi's characters at the East Hampton Police Department. With Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks starring as estranged siblings, The Better Sister teams two of television's top stars in one series. Banks, best known for her roles in the Pitch Perfect and Hunger Games movies, is a three-time Emmy-nominated star, all for Outstanding Guest Actress, twice for 30 Rock and once for Modern Family. Biel is also an Emmy-nominated actress for her performance in the limited series, The Sinner.

The Better Sister is also star-studded behind the camera, with Craig Gillespie directing all eight episodes. While he is best known for helming the films Lars and the Real Girl, Fright Night, I, Tonya, Cruella, and Dumb Money, it was the miniseries Pam & Tommy that earned Gillespie an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.
