  • This movie definitely has its weak points, but I often see people say it's the worst Marvel movie and frankly, I don't think it deserves the extreme hate it receives. Maybe it's because I am a big Loki fan, but Loki saves this movie for me and I really enjoy how much we see him and Thor interacting, as well as learning about both of their pasts and their family dynamic. The villain in this film is fairly weak, but Loki and Thor's character development make the movie enjoyable for me.

  • Christopher Eccleston is criminally wasted in a movie that mixes superhero and genuine fantasy without committing to either. The final fight where Thor is hurled through portals has a little imagination, but there isn't one compelling character in the whole movie.

  • Not that great but definitely has some great moments. Don't think it is as good as the first film or Ragnarok, but better than Love & Thunder for sure. Took itself a bit too serious with arguably the most underwhelming villain in the entire MCU. I think it looks good though.

  • The Dark World is stronger than most people give it credit for. Loki and Thor's journey is a welcome exploration of their characters, the creative set pieces are still memorable, and there is a good blend of practical and digital affects. But a dull romantic subplot, superfluous and largely underused ing cast, and criminal misuse of Christopher Eccleston left me wanting more.

  • It's not the worst made MCU movie, but it's definitely one of the most forgettable. There's no stand-out moment that I'll refer back to when thinking about the Thor franchise as a whole, let alone the MCU. The film's biggest blunder is not utilizing Christopher Eccleston. He could've really elevated the film given the chance, and Malekith was an underwhelming villain who didn't feel nearly as powerful as he is in the comics.
