It’s quite one of the most jolly, yet soul crushing films that I have experienced. I watched this 423 times and yet I still try not to cry at the end every time. Though it shows off a bit of The Once-ler’s backstory, I wish it would be more in depth, I would hope they would make a Once-ler prequel, show him his family and school life, maybe get him a girlfriend as well which would assure fans that he wasn’t always suffering. And maybe also show how he survived self isolation all those years, it’s just a thought. But overall this is my favorite movie ever and I wouldn’t replace it for anything else besides the potential prequel I was talking about.

In all reality, this film is spunky, has personality, is well animated, and sends an important message about protecting the environment. I definitely recommend it for children and adults alike!
