  • While it is perhaps my third favorite Hitchcock movie, Psycho is incredibly deserving of its celebration. As a movie on its own, it is enthralling and engaging, keeping you invested even as every twist makes you reconsister everything you are seeing. Between strong performances and iconic shots, Psycho is well with a revisit to this day.

  • There is a reason that Psycho is THE Hitchcock film that is talked about. For a mystery genre film, the twists and turns still work really well to this day, making it a watch that holds up even in the 21st century.

Synopsis

In this now-iconic Alfred Hitchcock thriller, a secretary embezzles forty thousand dollars from her employer's client, goes on the run, and checks into a remote motel. The place is run by a young man under the domination of his mother -- and he soon turns out to be far more threatening than he appeared at first.
