Metroid Prime Remastered is an overhaul of the original Metroid Prime, originally released on the Nintendo Gamecube and later on the Nintendo Wii as a part of the Metroid Prime Trilogy. In this first entry, players take on the role of bounty hunter Samus Aran as she answers a distress call on a pirate ship. Discovering that her nemesis, Ridley, is being rebuilt, she chases him to a seemingly remote planet known as Talon IV, only to find it was home to the race of super begins that raised her. Samus will uncover why the civilization fell to ruin while hunting her foe in this first-person, action-adventure entry in the ever-expanding Metroid franchise.
