This is considered a quintessential - not just essential, but quintessential - Christmas movie for a reason. Really, anything with Jimmy Stewart is a must see viewing because the way he just puts his body, mind, and soul into every role he’s in truly must be seen to be believe. This is him at his best and he knows exactly how to tug at those heartstrings.

This movie was accused of being Communist when it first came out, because it painted bankers and the wealth class in a negative light. And yet, it became a holiday classic and persevered, anti-capitalism and all.

I grew up with this movie being shown as an annual celebration of LIFE! SO many people have found themselves in a seemingly hopeless situation and wished for what George voiced that night, art imitating life. Now, I have to stream to find it, but so be it! It will continue to be my personal annual celebration!

They cut out the ending on tv where he goes back to when he wasn't born they cut that whole part out the best part of the movie cause of copyright stuff so bogus but it's definitely the best then christmas story then home alone

I have a list of certain movies that I have to watch during the holiday season and this is number one. It may be sentimental, but this is the time of year for sentimental. I love it!

Seems to be a morality play. Very enjoyable to watch. Love the small town camaraderie among almost everyone.

I think It's A Wonderful Life has great performances and a great script, and I can definitely see why it's a classic. However, the simple story never quite had the "best film of all time" type of appeal to me, leading me to be disappointed every time I watch it.
