Warning: Spoilers for Superman #21

Superman and Lois Lane's romance has always been swoon-worthy, but now that Lois has developed her own powers as Superwoman, they've unlocked a new level of romance. Lois' Kryptonian upgrade rewrites her dynamic with Superman and allows their date nights to deviate from the norms they've grown used to, thus making them one of DC's strongest relationships - in more ways than one.

In a preview for Superman #21 by Joshua Williamson, Dan Mora, Alejandro Sánchez, and Ariana Maher, Superman invites Superwoman on what she assumes is a secret mission of some kind. When Lois follows Superman through space, she's surprised to discover that they're going to be spending time on the moon together.

Superman reveals to Lois that they're going on a date, not a mission, and it won't be like any date they've ever been on before. Thanks to Lois' newfound superpowers, she and Clark can mix up their date nights in inventive ways that other couples in DC lore can only dream of.

On Superman's date with Lois, he sets up a fairly standard date activity for the two of them, but with a superhuman twist. He uses his heat vision to form a target on the surface of a massive moon rock. Then, he lifts another rock and throws it at the target like an over-sized dart. Superman cites Lois mentioning her proficiency with darts from her college days, which gives the scene a sweet undertone as it shows that he's planned their date based on her interests. Rather than playing regular darts, though, Superman and Superwoman can play with giant space boulders due to Lois' Kryptonian strength.

Superman and Lois' dates aren't limited to human activities anymore, as this shift in their status quo opens up endless possibilities for what they can do together, including their current outing on the moon.
