Ambush Bug and Peacemaker have hijacked a cargo truck carrying multiple clones of Superboy, who break free and begin wreaking havoc. Ambush Bug begins freaking out, not sure what to do. Peacemaker tells Ambush Bug to teleport the clones away. Ambush Bug then asks Peacemaker where he should teleport them to; the Peacemaker yells “Who cares?!” As Ambush Bug begins teleporting the Superboy clones away, he tells Peacemaker that the people who reside where he is depositing the clones will care. After Ambush Bug teleports the last of the clones, he confides in Peacemaker he put them in a “very clever place.”

Ambush Bug teleports clones of Superboy

Ambush Bug does not clarify what he means by “clever,” but the implication is he used his reality warping powers to deposit the Superboy clones throughout the multiverse—a move that could have huge implications down the line. Superboy, and his clones, while not as powerful as Superman, can still fly and are still extremely strong; Superboy also possess powers the Man of Steel lacks, such as tactile telekinesis. These powerful clones, which lack the real Superboy’s knowledge and moral integrity, will no doubt be responsible for a lot of death and chaos throughout the multiverse.

Time will tell if these evil clones of Superboy resurface anywhere in the multiverse; with the threat of the Great Darkness looming, this the last thing the multiverse needs.
