Star Wars star Oscar Isaac pays a visit to the new Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser Hotel that launched today at Florida's Walt Disney World Resort. Isaac ed the franchise when Disney revived it in 2015, making his debut in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the beloved Poe Dameron. Isaac continued as the X-wing pilot for the following two films, appearing in the complete sequel trilogy. Despite enjoying his time playing the role and performing to the usual talented-Isaac high standard, the actor has said that The Rise of Skywalker, which received mixed reviews from the very loyal Star Wars fandom.

After purchasing Lucasfilm for $4 billion back in 2012, Disney planned to bring the galaxy far, far away into their top-rated theme parks. With the idea for a Star Wars-themed hotel confirmed in 2017, the hotel's purpose was to bring one of the world's most famous movie franchises into reality. Visitors could take trips across the galaxy, dine in Star Wars fashion, and even indulge in some lightsaber training. CEO Bob Chapel announced that the hotel had sold out in its first four months.

NowDisney Parks tweeted a video of Isaac visiting the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel with Disney's Imagineer Scott Trowbridge. Isaac's reaction is a joy to behold as he experiences the incredibly detailed hotel for the first time. He even adds, "Are we shooting a scene here because it feels totally authentic," showing how good of a job the hotel does in bringing the fictional world of Star Wars into real life.

The video is a short but spectacular spectacle to watch, especially for franchise fans. It also helps that Isaac has genuine and infectious reactions to being excited and amazed by the articulate design. The only concern for visitors is the hefty and expensive prices for the hotel, totaling up to just under $6k for just four guests. Critics heavily ridiculed the costs, but looking at the design and the many activities offered during the stay, it truly feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience for dedicated Star Wars lovers to try.

Star Wars still has plenty in store for those unable to attend the Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser Hotel in the coming years as Disney continues to expand the franchise beyond the core films. After recently wrapping up The Book of Boba Fett, the long-awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ is confirmed for release on May 25th. Alongside that, Andor and The Mandalorian season 3 are set to be released towards the latter end of 2022.
