GAME Remaster Poll Results

Despite The Simpsons remaining a presence on Fox’s Sunday night line-up and currently being available for streaming on Disney+, the animated family hasn’t been featured in a big-budget console video game since The Simpsons Game in 2007. While there have been mobile-based tie-ins and the aforementioned appearance in Lego Dimensions, there doesn’t seem to be any plans to return to Springfield in a triple-A video game, though anything is possible given franchise owner Disney’s recent commitments to branching out their properties into the world of interactive entertainment.

Given GAME’s findings, it seems the market is there for The Simpsons to make a video game comeback, at least when it comes to a remaster of one of the franchise’s best installments. Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks all the time, perhaps now is the time for the citizens of Springfield to hit the road once more in a remaster of The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
