Heather Rae Young from Selling Sunset is one of the most talked-about reality stars these days. Her character has been evolving season after season. Although she doesn't involve herself in gossip and drama that much, she often manages to be at the forefront of the show due to her romantic relationship. Let's have a recap of what happened with the blonde bombshell in the second season.

In the first season, the former playboy model was dating a hockey player, Nick, and had a small-time beef with Christine Quinn. However, she enters season 2 with a surprise. Viewers get to know that the real estate agent has moved on from Nick and is now dating Flip Or Flop star Tarek El Moussa. She is head over heels in love with him and doesn't want anyone to question their relationship. While talking to her co-star Maya Vander, Heather reveals how she met Tarek on the fourth of July. Since then, they have been texting and flirting with each other. By August or September of 2019, they were in a committed relationship.

The 32-year-old tells her friends that she has even met her boyfriend's two kids. The new entrant, Amanza Smith, disagreed with involving kids so early on in their relationship. She fears that if their relationship doesn't work out, the kids could get hurt. She said, "It terrifies me how fast you have met those kids. Because when and if something doesn't work out, their hearts are crushed." But Heather quickly snaps at her and affirms that she's very serious with Tarek. In fact, they are planning to move in together.

Amid her whirlwind romance with the real estate tycoon, the realtor finds it difficult to manage her professional and personal life. In one instance, she has a listing to show to a client at the same time as her boyfriend's daughter's birthday. She decides not to miss the party and asks the fellow agents for help. Nobody except Amanza comes forward to cover for her. But, as usual, the busy mommy of two is a little late for the showing, and the client has to wait for about 30 minutes. To top it all, Amanza shares Heather's personal reason for not being present, which ultimately tainted Heather's reputation in front of her client.

All in all, everybody at the Oppenheim Group gave Heather a hard time about her moving too fast in her relationship with the HGTV star. Well, fast forward a year, Heather is still going strong with her beau. She moved in with Tarek and shares a great bond with his daughter and son. The duo got engaged in July and is now planning a wedding.
