This is a liquid chemical used to clear clogged drains. The effects of drinking a drain cleaner are often severe. Damage to the esophagus and stomach is common. The lasting effects of stomach poisoning can be very dramatic.
Fortunately, Danny survived the tragic accident. However, he was left with some mouth injuries and scarring. At the time of the accident, doctors suggested plastic surgery to improve the look of the scars on Danny's face and body. However, Danny's family did not approve of the plastic surgery procedures for Danny because plastic surgery is against their Amish beliefs.
Danny From Return To Amish Rejects Modern Dentistry
Beyond Danny's facial surgery dilemma, the Amish community has always had an atypical relationship with dentistry. Within Amish society, it has become ordinary for community to get their teeth removed. Because the Amish society has limited with dentists (or no at all with them), it is often more convenient for Amish people to have their teeth removed. Sometimes, missing teeth are replaced by dentures.
Despite his severe injury and his family's conservative approach to treatment, Danny's teeth are his own. Fortunately, Maureen thinks Danny is perfect just as he is. Although the couple's relationship status is unclear since the filming of season 6 is over, the pair's strong bond appears to be unbreakable.
