Resident Alien's characters all dealing with various issues in their town, slowly weaving everyone's storyline into the alien activities happening in the area.

Resident Alien season 3 ended on a cliffhanger, with Harry and his son, Bridget, trapped on the Greys' Moon base. Back on Earth, a Mantid has taken Harry's place, fooling everyone except for Max, who sees through his human disguise at the end of the season finale. D'arcy also managed to rescue the Hawthorne's baby from the Greys, while Sheriff Mike shot and killed one while investigating what turned out to be a UFO crash. Peter Bach has also escaped government custody with cybernetic enhancements. All these storylines set the stage for a wild season 4 upon the series' return.

The Show Also Has A Significantly Reduced Budget

Resident Alien season 4 premieres Friday, June 6 at 11 PM ET on Syfy and USA, the first time the show will be airing on both networks at the same time. The series has always been exclusive to Syfy since it began, but now it will be following in the footsteps of series like Chucky and airing on both NBCUniversal-owned channels. The series was originally facing cancellation on Syfy before being renewed at USA, the decision to air it on both networks coming at a later time. However, the sci-fi comedy has also had its budget significantly reduced.

Resident Alien's worldbuilding has been brilliant so far, but I can't help feeling that showrunner Chris Sheridan is holding back on one element.

Season 4's story will explore the aftermath of season 3, with the Mantid pretending to be Harry on Earth, while the main Harry attempts to escape the Greys' Moon base. Reviews for Resident Alien season 4 have already been positive, continuing the show's streak of strong humor, interesting stories, and unpredictable twists in the narrative. Despite the new circumstances under which it's airing, as well as the reduced budget, it seems like season 4 will continue to be another entertaining entry in the series.

Alan Tudyk, who stars as Harry, will be directing the first two episodes of Resident Alien season 4.

New episodes of the sci-fi comedy will not be available the same night they air on cable. However, new episodes will be available on Peacock one week after they air on cable. This means episode 1 will be available on Peacock starting Friday, June 13, being added to the platform weekly until the finale arrives on Friday, August 15. Those who don't have access to Syfy or USA will still be able to watch new episodes of Resident Alien, but their experience will be delayed by one week.

The episodes of Resident Alien offer a promising continuation to the show, which has finally started to incorporate all its characters into the larger alien presence in Patience. With 10 episodes to cover the next arc of the story, it seems like the series will have plenty to explore as faces, new and old, become core parts of the series' newest chapter. As the threat of other alien forces continue, Harry and his friends will need to do everything they can to protect their town, and the world.
