Cartoon Network's best TV shows recalls the nature of a classic Saturday morning cartoon, Regular Show being a perfect example. Its 244 episodes cover a series of the absurd adventures of a talking raccoon and blue jay, with wonderfully strange world-building that makes it an amazing watch that can be enjoyed in a short format.

Regular Show is also getting a highly anticipated revival which will feature at least a few of the original cast. J. G. Quintel As Mordecai/Hi Five Ghost

Actor: J. G. Quintel is actually a writer before an actor, although he has voiced many characters in the shows he has written for, and is the creator of Regular Show. After graduating from CalArts in 2005, Quintel went straight into working for some of the biggest TV networks. The first Cartoon Network series Quintel worked on was Camp Lazlo!, before he successfully pitched Regular Show and took on multiple regular roles in his biggest series. Since the end of Regular Show, Quintel has continued to create animated shows.

Character(s): Quintel voices his own creation Mordecai, one of the two main characters of Regular Show. Mordecai is a very tall blue jay and the more laid-back and hardworking of the best friends duo at the center of Regular Show. Yet this does not stop him from spiraling into all kinds of shenanigans with Rigby. Quintel also provides the voice of Hi Five Ghost, Muscle Man's best friend another staple character of Regular Show despite a minimal speaking role.

William Salyers As Rigby

Actor: William Salyers had a long career before ing Regular Show as its secondary lead. Salyers first got started in television with live-action series including Northern Exposure, Medicine Ball, and Pandora's Clock. However, in the early 2010s Salyers started taking on voice acting roles, including Regular Show, and ultimately became much better known for this type of work. Today he is famous for countless animated roles in movies, TV, and video games.

Character: Rigby is a hyperactive raccoon and Mordecai's best friend, who works alongside him as a groundskeeper at the local park. Rigby proves himself to be the wilder of the two main Regular Show characters, causing more trouble and misadventures, but has his own soft character arc throughout the series.

Sam Marin As Benson/Pops/Muscle Man

Actor: Sam Marin is also a behind-the-scenes talent as well as an actor, having studied and worked in animation. Marin met J. G. Quintel when they were both at CalArts and worked on several projects while in school together. Marin went to work for Disney after graduating and was part of the animation department for several huge titles, including Ratatouille, Bolt, The Princess and the Frog, and Tangled. Marin left Disney to work on Regular Show; his animation and voice acting career has continued with various projects since then.

Character: Marin's willingness to help his friend's show succeed shows in the casting, with Marin pulling the weight of three regular characters. The character of Benson is a walking talking gumball machine who frequently comes across as angry, largely because of Mordecai and Rigby's antics. Marin also voices the cheery lollipop "Pops," and the prankster "Muscle Man," both of whom also work at the park.

Mark Hamill As Skips

Actor: Mark Hamill is, of course, best known for the once-in-a-generation role of Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars series, having helped launch the franchise as part of the original cast in 1977, starred in the subsequent sequels, and returned decades later to be part of the legacy sequel trilogy. However, starting in the 1990s, Hamill began to establish himself as a voice actor and has done numerous animated projects leading up to today. Perhaps his most famous animated role is the Joker, whom he first voiced in Batman: The Animated Series.

Character: Skips is another groundskeeper for the park seen in Regular Show, tasked with working alongside Mordecai and Rigby. Skips is an immortal yeti with a typically downplayed personality, often coming across as gruff and anti-social. However, Skips has a long and storied past due to his immortality, having gone through many life-changing experiences in that time.

Roger Craig Smith As Thomas

Actor: Roger Craig Smith is a voice actor and former live comedian who has provided voices for various animated series and video games. His projects range from the long-running role of Captain America in the 2012 series Avengers Assemble to Ezio in Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection to Batman in the Batman: Arkham Origins video game to the small role of Claggor in the landmark adult animated Netflix series Arcane.

Character: While it was common for actors to double up on roles in the show's run, Smith impressively voices more than 170 characters in Regular Show. His role who emerged as a main character of Regular Show, Thomas/Nikolai, a goat who arrives in season 4 to also work at the park and turns out to be there as a spy for the Russian government.

Minty Lewis As Eileen

Actor: Minty Lewis is also a writing collaborator of Quintel, credited as a writer on 30 episodes of Regular Show and seven episodes of Close Enough. She is also the creator of her own animated series, The Great North. Lewis got her start as a writer and voice actress for Cartoon Network, working on shows including We Bare Bears and Adventure Time, gradually building her resume of behind-the-scenes work before becoming the final main character of Regular Show.

Character: Eileen is a "mole girl" who first appears as a coffee shop waitress in Regular Show season 2, eventually having a relationship with her crush Rigby. Eileen is arguably Regular Show's resident "nerd" and is very shy at first but becomes more comfortable around Mordecai and Rigby with time. After being a recurring character for a long time, Eileen becomes a regular main in the later seasons.

Janie Haddad Tomkins as Margaret: Haddad Tompkins has performed a variety of small TV roles in both animation and live-action. Her credits include Hacks, Night Court, and Leo. In Regular Show, she is Margaret, a red robin whom Mordecai has a relationship with, later leading to a love triangle with CJ.

Robin Atkin Downes as Gary/Guardians of Eternal Youth: Atkin Downes has done a variety of voice work, with several well-known Disney projects, including The Owl House, Forky Asks a Question, and Cars on the Road. He is notably credited with providing "creature vocals" for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Ack's voice in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.

David Kaye as Guardians of Eternal Youth: Kaye's first movie was the Academy Award-nominated Legends of the Fall as a child actor, before starting voice acting in the early 2000s. Alongside Atkin Downes, he brings to life the Guardians of Eternal Youth in Regular Show, worshiped by Skips in exchange for immortality.

David Ogden Stiers as Mr. Maellard: Voicing Pops' father, Stiers played the major live-action of Maj. Like most Regular Show actors, in addition to his main character — the setting's personification of death — Holloway plays some other side characters.

Ali Hillis as Pam: The voice of Pam, a scientist who studies the park workers and has a brief relationship with Benson in Regular Show, appears in Robert Downey Jr.'s 2005 movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. She voices Vicki Hale in the video game Batman: Arkham Shadow and Angela in Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
