As a person who has followed the Karate Kid since the beginning and now with my grandchildren I really enjoyed it and was pleasantly pleased it had a lot of connections to the original which I thoroughly enjoyed it definitely should be added to a good watchable family film. Forget the critics and just go enjoy it.
