There was a teenage girl that never saw her parents again, a wife and kids that never saw their husband and father again, a husband that never saw his wife again and those are just the ones we got to know. His ending wasn't happy at all. He brought that down on those people. That's the real problem with sin, the effects and consequences never stop at the person committing them but people act like they do and that's what makes them selfish. It wouldn't be a problem otherwise.
