See All10 Best American Comedies Of All Time
Yet another quite bizarre list.
How on earth are (apart from Airplane) any of these movies the
very best/most rewatchable American comedies - ever?
Also...
Whilst it may have been a nice idea (on paper) to remind subscribers of the golden age of Hollywood.
One still has to have some relevance and connection to pop-culture of
the late 20th Century, and what the movie-going public can relate too, right now in 2025.
I'm not sure whether or not, the
Screenrant is deliberately trying to
troll/clickbait it's fanbase here?
Charlie Chaplin's 1925 'The Gold Rush' movie features the classic
scene of Chaplin being so hungry that, he actually reimagines his boot
and shoelaces as, a pasta dish and
start's eating it. Arguably, The Gold Rush is a far more funnier film than
City Light's.

Blazing Saddles, Coming to America,
Some Like it Hot, Trading Places, Bridesmaids, Zoolander, Napoleon Dynamite, Anchorman, The 40-Year Old Virgin, Super bad, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Austin Power movie trilogy, Girl Trip, Dumb and Dumber...just to name a few.
I mean...
This does to be a very nonspecific random list of comedies from the 1920s, 30s, 40s?
With a Stanley Kubrick movie thrown into the mix, and just for the sake of it? Dr. Strange love is not the funniest movie, on any credible list.
10 Harsh Realities Of Rewatching Captain America: Brave New World Now It's On Disney+
At some point in Brave New World. Sam actually says to himself, "I should've taken the super-serum!"
I mean, Sam in the movie get shot at numerous times. Even get stabbed up. And then thrown around like a rag doll by Red Hulk. Like, none of this wouldn't have caused major broken bones, life threatening injuries?
Nobody could've survived any what Sam Wilson's Captain America experienced.
As good as, an actor Anthony Mackie is. Let's face it, Brave New World isn't a Cap movie. Marvel/Disney blatantly turned into a Red Hulk origin story.
It's not as bad as, everyone has been winging about. It's still a mid-tier movie. Better than The Marvel's and the last dreadful Ant-Man movie.
Also...
In all of Brave New World's press junkets, Antony Mackie, repeatedly insisting that Sam Wilson should never take the super-serum.
I mean like Chris Evans from the very get-go understood the assignment.
Steve Rodgers took the super-serum and the rest is...(MCU History), we had three fantastic Captain America movies. There was no need for fourth one.
10 Movies That Prove The '80s Was The Best Decade For Sci-Fi

Sinners Box Office Crosses Major Global Milestone That Justifies The Ryan Coogler Horror Movie's Huge Budget
Me and my son were fortunate enough to see Sinners in Enfield's IMAX movie theatre. And the sound was phenomenal. Also, Cooglers use of ultra wide panavision/IMAX cameras - the cinematography is totally awesome. The music soundtrack is next level brilliant.
And the ensemble acting absolutely superb.
The fact that, Marvel's Thunderbolts movie has now taken the majority of the IMAX screens doesn't matter.
Because WB are going to re-release
Sinners for one week only (back onto IMAX screens) during May time.
I would encourage everyone to continue ing Sinners.
Because what Coogler and his extremely talented crew has managed to achieve, really is a very special cinematic experience.
Jeremy Renner Reveals He Turned Down Hawkeye Season 2 After Marvel Offered "Half The Money" Of Season 1
Well done to Jeremy Renner for sticking to his own standards and principles. And I guess it is a case of knowing one's own self-worth.
Plus...
Jeremy has been extremely transparent with the behind-the-scenes breakdown of what exactly
the filming schedule of any potential 2nd season of Hawkeye would entail.
I mean, imagine dedicating 8-months of one's life to a project. Only to be told from the get-go that, "Oh by the way, we're going to literally cut your salary in half. (And Disney just like a lot of Streaming network's) Also there's no guarantee that, Renner would be getting any future residuals/royalties.
It's also obvious that, Marvel Tv were
very much hoping to follow-on from the Hawkeye comic's with Hailee Seinfeld's, Kate Bishop's character being the main lead of the 2nd Season, and Renner/Clint Barton continuing to reluctantly train Kate Bishop (the master training the apprentice). Marvel's long-term aim being a possible future 'The Young Avenger's' project.
I digress...
Jeremy Renner's best options as an actor is to expand and diverse away from any Marvel/Disney involvement.
And to continue to develop his own
film & tv project's.
Sometimes money isn't everything.
Especially when we're now witnessing the whole comic book movie genre literally implode upon itself.
30 Years Later, This Pierce Brosnan Movie Remains The Best James Bond Film
Congratulations Bro, you just played yourself.
Also...
Folk's really do need to stop themselves from sharing all of these silly/completely wack intrusive thoughts & opinions.
As for the best James Bond movies...
Goldfinger, Thunderball, From Russia with Love, Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, Casino Royale, Skyfall, are considered amongst the best.
As good as, Pierce Brosnan was in the part, GoldenEye isn't the very best Bond movie. It's just not even close.
The World is Not Enough,
with the smoking hot, Sophie Marceau, was Pierce's best.
