In each playthrough of the first mass effect series I have all three choices a numbers of times I have played the trilogy nine times which means I chose destroy three times I chose control three times and I chose synthesis three times so when amd if the new mass effect game comes out I will play it using those playthrough choices since I usually like easier playthroughs once I get bored of easy I will play the game again with the destroy playthrough however we have to take into the consideration that the trailer shows both the milkyway and our nearest elliptical neighbor the Andromeda galaxy which hints that Mass Effect 5 will include adventures in and between those two galaxies we don't fully know how many years have ed in their universe but my guess if maybe 600 years or more but it makes no sense to say the destroy ending was Canon because that would not make sense since during the playthrough in Andromeda we learn of thr Reaper war during our journey to the Andromeda galaxy which would mean the destroy ending would maybe have also hit the arks traveling through dark space as well since they only left the milky way during the time Commander Shepard was fighting the collectors and they would have still been int close proximity at the start of the Reaper invasion as we see from Alec Ryder's computer in Andromeda
