Beautifully filmed and acted, with memorable performances by Morfydd Clark, Charlie Vickers, Sam Haseldine, and so many others! I've never been so wrapped up in a television series. Love it so far, looking forward to seeing Rivendell and Lothlorien spring to life, and Sauron's subversion of Numenor in seasons to come.

Oh, please, please, PLEASE let this be where they're heading! Elros and Elrond flashback could also set up future Numenor tragedy with themes of mortality and immortality. But I really want to see Maglor and Maedhros.
