It’s interesting that so many are upset that the show has “dragged-out” the journey to Montana but the entire 1883 show was about the journey there. I think we need to see all that Alex goes through because it ties back to the little hints that were dropped during Yellowstone about John Dutton’s grandparents. Unfortunately, I think someone with Alex’s upbringing needed to go thru some of this to toughen her up or she would never survive in Montana.
