I’m angry that this series was ever made and happy that there’s no direct spin off.

The new characters are bland and forgettable while the legacy characters underused.

It was a great opportunity lost and if it was done properly from the get go I have no doubt we would have gotten more seasons.

ST Prodigy is the only faithful Trek since Enterprise. The End!

World’s biggest Voyager fan here and even I won’t be watching the Academy series. Anything STD related isn’t canon as far as I’m concerned and just can’t stomach it. Apologies to Picardo!

Prodigy being the exception. Strangely enough it’s the only show that looks and feels like REAL Trek and expands nicely on the post Voyager timeline. It’s the best Trek since Enterprise and I really hope it gets a third season or even a movie.

Great comment. The whole maquis thing I found was done well and it actually covered 2 seasons with the whole Seska/Kazon story being a spin off from that.

It is and always has been the best all round Trek show, for me anyway.

Adventurous, bold, full of variety, meaningful, funny and so much more relatable than the others that came before it.

I’ve never understood the bashing this movie gets. Not the best send off for the TNG crew, agreed, however as a stand alone Trek movie I liked it and found the story quite believable. It’s leaps and bounds above the latest iterations of Trek movies and I will continue to watch it.

Actually I would disagree. While it is definitely bingeworthy and I’m actually watching it now, the most bingeable is and always has been Voyager.

It is consistently the most rewatched Star Trek Series and I personally never get bored of its varied and exciting storytelling.

While I would have loved a movie which in reality could have followed up on any number of stories from the shows 7 year run, I would have been more than happy with just 1 more episode that actually showed us the things we wanted to see like them meeting family & friends etc. I’ll never get over how abruptly it ended.

Without doubt, a well written legacy show featuring more legacy era characters would do extremely well.

However, a show anything like Discovery or the first 2 seasons of Picard would be a massive mistake. Lessons should have been learned by now and we need to get back to the concise, meaningful storytelling of that era.

You’re right. Even though that timeline no longer exists it’s more than likely he got a promotion on his return to the Alpha quadrant. This whole not getting promoted thing is just boring now.

Yawn. Bored of hearing this now. Voyager was alone, chances of promotion were very small for everyone on the ship and kinda unnecessary.

It’s even addressed in an actual episode! Not funny, not interesting just repetitive nonsense.
