I have to respectfully disagree. While I enjoyed the first season, loved the acting and the dialogue, I was really disgusted with the last shot. After all of the tantalizing clues of some kind of unifying missing piece to the puzzle, they left us with a haunted-house creepy zombie coming to life. Such a cheap shot. The ending felt like the writers had to deal with a last minute budget cut and they had to cram three episodes into a few scenes. Very disappointing. The show had a lot going for it.
