There are things I didn't like in the adaptation (Layla) there are things they could have done better, and there are missed opportunities to bring the fan base more on board (they could have used the portal stones to give a nod to the original story, but cut that whole scene instead) For those calling to cancel the show, if they do that, nobody will ever touch the series again. If we as fans of the series it, there may be a chance that each book gets a 3 hour movie. This might stick closer to the books. In summary: enjoy the new journey with your beloved characters, the franchise, but let them know you want a more accurate portrayal of the books
