It would be so much easier for me to mentally give this a fairer shake if Jack would just shave the beard to be more like the classic Steve look. Steve is always a reflection of the player, so I can stretch to embrace that Jack has his version of Steve (the main player) just like I do.

But looks can help with the authenticity, and the beard detracts from that. I'm still a Minecraft fan, so I'll probably still watch it. Hoping it's not as bad as people fear ...
