Perhaps the Doctor is a paradox, having fallen into the schism or temporal vortex sometime in the future and then emerging in their own past as the Timeless Child, newly regenerated. The Time Lords erase their memory to mitigate the effects of the paradox on Gallifreyan history. Division make a fugitive out of the Fugitive Doctor to prevent her from crossing paths with early incarnations, something they could no longer prevent after Gallifrey falls.

Peri was actually revealed to be alive in the final episode of the Trail of a Time Lord, The Ultimate Foe. It was revealed that the Valyard had deceived the Doctor through manipulation of his memory that caused him not to Peri’s fate ( She married an alien Warlord, Yecanos, played by Brian Blessed.

This article erroneously implies that Wicked is a prequel to MGMs 1939 Wizard of Oz. It is not. It’s a reimagining, loosely based on Baum’s Oz books an embellished by Gregory McGuire. The names Elphaba and Nessarose don’t exist in Baum’s Oz books or outside of the Wicked books, musical and now film. To imply that Galinda, Elphaba and Nessarose are origin stories for the Witches appearing in MGMs version is misleading.
