Love this series! Always thought Kathy Bates was a good actress but she is great!

She makes the character seem real. As a member of the silver haired generation, I know from experience that younger people think don't take you seriously most of the time...ignore suggestions, ignore your abilities & talk as if you aren't even present unless you bring cookies, cupcakes or muffins. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it hurts & sometimes it makes you angry!

Sometimes it comes in handy. All the characters are good.

We have been unable to see the

Episodes 1 & 2 of The Old Man

due to the Directv- Disney contract conflict when the series was set to begin. We are unable to pay for every PLUS streaming channel that is offered. We can see the series from episodes# 3 forward unless some other TV Giant finds something else to keep us from it. Is there a way we can see these 2 episodes without cost? I've about given up on watching any special series.
