See AllJohn Wick: Chapter 5 - Confirmation & Everything We Know
“John Wick 4” ended perfectly, and John should not return from the dead except maybe in quick, humorous, Stan Lee-style cameos in spinoffs where: (1) he has changed his appearance, (2) only Winston and the Bowery King know he is alive, and (3) John is clearly enjoying the good life with his dog, a new lover and attendance at a church that isn’t connected to organized crime. Having John return in future battles would ruin his hard-fought quest for peace, and would ruin the closure of “John Wick 4.” So, film-makers should not screw up the end of the “John Wick” franchise as the Wachowskis screwed up “The Matrix” — which should have stopped with the first movie, or with a happy ending for the second one. Everything after that was a confusing and frustrating waste of time and money, and a hot steaming dump on the original classic. “John Wick” deserves better than that.
