In the comics, yes. However since when have the MCU strictly follow comic arcs? Maybe not Iron lad specifically but I'm pretty sure they had planned on him taking over the role in some way.

So whatever happened to Iron lad? Anyone that? Were they not trying to set up Ty Simpkins, the kid from iron man 3 aswell as the funeral at the end of end game. I would have liked to see that, since he was already a established character and helped Tony.

I gotta ask, does anyone actually care? The last trilogy was terrible and just about put the bright light that was Star wars out forever. Why do we need a continuation in any form?

Honestly I stopped watching at the beginning of Peter Capaldi's third season. I did however come back for Tennant's 14th Doctor. Then I was done again

It was a film about Dr.Strange and a psycho Scarlet witch, it wasn't about captain Carter. The scene where she dispatches the illuminati with relative ease was suppose to showcase how truly powerful she had become with the Darkhold, as well as ruthless in the pursuit of what she wanted. So cry me a river it wasn't about Captain Carter or the illuminati.

How about Jesse? Death wouldn't make a good villian at all, it's completely outside of who he is. The only reason he was causing problems in the first place is because he was tethered to Lucifer and had to obey. Jesse however just kind of disappeared and if some how managed to keep his ridiculous amount of power could be quite a interesting villain, absolute power absolutely corrupts.

You should probably also mention that James Marsters and Anthony Stewart Head were already very musically inclined, as they are both accomplished musicians. As for the episode it's self, I personally did not at all enjoy it.. however musicals have never really been my thing
