Sadly a lot of good SyFy shows get cancelled on cliffhangers. One that really hurt was Sliders... They spent 5-6 seasons building the quest to find home and then left it on a cliffhanger of did they get home in the season finale? We begged SyFy to gives us one more season, or even a mini season to at least finish the story conclusively. It never happened... The cast even ed us in the request.

It failed because Fox didn't know what to do with it. They aired the episodes out of order, changed the night it was on, changed the time it was to show, and in general didn't have a clue how to market it. If it had been on another network, we probably would have had at least 3-4 seasons of the show. It was a great show that took chances and they paid off but Fox just failed the show.
