This really seems like a pointless thing to do. Permanently removing Thor from the main continuity will only serve to alienate fans of the character and make the MU less intricate and fantastical. Temporarily removing him will only be a cheap, short-term marketing stunt. It’s a dumb move either way, albeit for different reason.
