I tried watching superstore on a plane and oh my god, I couldn't make more cliche characters even If I try. I hope it gets better from s2 ok (apparently they made many seasons, i though they cancelled it after 1) but honestly it's a huge for me.

How is the end of devilman crybaby controversial? It's incredibly depressing and shocking (as you pointed out) but it's basically 1:1 with the manga and it perfectly fits with the premise. I understand I'm not English mother tongue, but it seems that you used "controversial" as a click bait (at least in this case). Haven't seen the others, except evangelion (I loved both endings and the reboot, but I understand how some fans got upset)

Don't get me wrong, I love death note but after L, it becomes unwatchable. Near and Mello have the charisma of a couple of bricks. The plot becomes incredibly convoluted. Also Kira is a terrible protagonist. What I mean is that is extremely unlikable, even with an antihero, you need someone you can relate to, like a Walter white. Kira is just a spoiled brat.

As I said, I loved the series, expecially ryuk, but we are nowhere near a 10/10
