I have reread the series every time a new book came out and then the entire series once a year. Its a wonderful story. I couldn't wait for a tv series and then they bastardized it. Where are the Aes Sedai who you cant tell their age? Where is Perrin's axe? Uno does not die to the Seanchen. Morraine does not lose her power and Rand does not fix it. Logaine does not teach Rand nor is the a hot and steamy affair with Lanfear true. Aviendha and Elayne are not lovers and Elayne is not drinking and dancing on tables. Min is in love with Rand along with Aviendha and Elane. Faile's mother is not a dark friend. The worst is Siuan did not die!!! All of these changes change the way the book reads and the meaning of Lanfear and Lews Therin Telemon. While I watched the show and was increasingly disappointed, I would have watched it to the end but never again unlike Game of Thrones, which I enjoy every couple of years or so. I am sad, but not surprised.
