See AllI Never Thought I’d Like Marvel’s Joker, But He Somehow Just Won Me Over
Ever heard of Madcap? There is no other contender for being called Marvel's Joker. When I saw the title, I assumed that's who you'd be talking about. Arcade is just a rip off of The Riddler.
A Founding X-Men Hero's New Powers Make Him Immune to Magneto
I'm on board with pretty much everyone else here. Yeah, okay, we'll settle on Polaris not being able to affect him. But Magneto? You're absolutely full of it. He can control ANY metal, not just ferrous metals. The entire point of being an Omega is that there is no upper limit to his power and it cannot be recreated through technological or any other means. Omega mutants don't have little handicaps like only being able to affect certain things. They are the reason that so many other groups in that world are terrified of mutants. Even if Magneto couldn't affect his wings, Warren could have every bit of iron pulled from his blood, formed into a spike, and then blasted right through his head or heart. Within the span of a few seconds. Even among omega mutants, Magneto is ridiculously and terrifyingly overpowered. One bad day, and he could destroy any possibility of life on the planet. I've read that Mars is a dead planet specifically because it lost its global magnetic field about a billion years ago. He's powerful enough that he could likely strip that field from Earth, if it ever came down to taking everyone out with him. All he would have to do would be to focus on the core of the planet and stop the motion of the molten iron around the outer core, which is what creates our magnetic field.
After 40 Years, X-Men Finally Unlocks an Iconic Hero's Full Omega Power
That has to the the ultimate power move for an engineer lol
Not omega? Well then I'll just imagine myself building a machine to make myself omega!
10 MCU Villains That Even The Heroes Were Scared Of
Right? I was assuming it wasn't really in order, until there were reasons given for why Lady Death was number one. That pretty clearly says that the entries were placed in a deliberate order.
The Obvious Choice For A Dungeons & Dragons Live-Action TV Show Would Be Adapting This Huge 40-Year-Old Series
I agree with the assessment of the villains, but I'm wondering how that section was written without a single mention of Raistlin. And yes, I'm aware that in the end he's more of an anti-hero than anything, but for a lot of the series he can't be called anything other than a villain. I can't think of a single "bad guy" in literature who has so much depth and so many layers, and who was so completely human and relatable underneath the trappings of an evil mage and the thirst for power. He is the reason I keep going back to Dragonlance over the years, I've reread it like a child watches their favorite Disney movies. "People can identify with Raistlin. We can relate to feelings that nobody loves us, to the struggle for recognition and acceptance. I really understood Raistlin right off the bat." - Margaret Weis
