We have a history of the Sith. They just keep changing it. Bane destroyed the Sith Empire in favor of the Rule of Two first introduced by Darth Revan. He masterminded the victory by Lord Hoth of the Army of Light against the Sith so that the Sith would lose. Try reading the Darth Bane trilogy. And Jedi and Sith were part of the same order originally. Canon just keeps retconing and making some ridiculous stories.

Not going to happen. Millions of people grew up loving these and are loving the fact that we are getting content made for us. Don’t like it, don’t watch it. We will still rule the box office.
