Why does Hollywood insist on changing things in movies like gender, race, sexuality, but are so adamant in sticking to the comics that Lex Luther is white, bald, and super clean-shaven? Why can't he be grizzled, facial blemishes, bearded, other than white (and no, not Idris. He's not very convincing as an evil dude.). Heck, why not a bald Willem Defoe?
