I collected John Byrnes' revamped Man of Steel mini series and his opening 20 or so issues of the then new Superman series. His Clark was a confident 'ladies man' as he was dating co worker Cat Grant aa well as having feelings for Lois. The clichéd stuttering Clark, forever sliding up his glasses 'having headaches/needing to lie down' was irritating. Interesting to see this version of Clark.
I enjoyed the '87 movie and bought the VHS on its release. I don't think the costumes look cheap. Rather think the movie did well (movie wise not box office) considering its Cannon we're talking about. Love the orchestral movie score and the special effects
Haven't seen Kraven but plan to despite the moaning about it. I have seen the rest. More thought should have gone into Wolverine since it contradicts X Men (ie Sabretooth). I have no problem with the others. Don't get the whining and 'outrage' over WW84 and Morbius. And I prefer Andrew Garfield's Spiderman films to the previous ones.
Not g the Accords is NOT one of the worst things Cap did. That would involved being nothing but a government stooge being told when/where to fight or do nothing when told to. I wouldn't have signed it. However, you would have Judging from your comment.
Dagobah and Bespin/Cloud City seen in Return of the Jedi. Luke with Yoda and Ben, then amongst the planet celebrations at the end of the Special Edition.
The best screen rant post so far. Thought not exactly a 'rant', more of an observation which I actually agree on. The earlier phases were great, gently drip feeding the audience. The focus was Thanos and the Infinity Stones. Now there don't seem to be focus, just a bunch of random movies and series. Now so many am still catching up. I loved the post credit scenes back then. My favourite was Thor's hammer at the end of Iron Man 2 followed by S Witch and Quicksilver in Cap America 2. Still haven't watched Ant Man 3 or Marvels as I have to watch both Loki series and Invasion. Am busy trying to watch other Amazon, Disney and Netflix series like Jack Ryan, Squid Games, LOTR, plus the Mandalorian, Boba Fett and Ashoka. Unfortunately missed the Willow series which has been taken off.
I like most of the films mentioned here. Thought Daredevil and Blade Trinity were good. Still can't believe the hysterical 'hatred' for Madame Web. Get over yourselves
Die Another Day did NOT go out with a whimper. It's one of the most action packed Bond films despite the dodgy CGI. The sword fighting sequence is one of the best moments. Gripping throughout.
And? Villians come in all shapes and sizes, the same with their power levels. Some are super human and others are regular Joe's. What's the big deal? Another wasted top 10 list. No doubt you'll complete a '10 heroes who are actually weak' list. Are have you done it already?
I love this trilogy, even the exrended versions and prefer them to the LOTR films. Mainly because of Martin Freeman who I thought was excellent plus the dwarfs. My favourite moment of the movies were their first meeting in Bilbo's home. Perfect comedy moments ending with the solemn hymn they sang.
That's a cool flying shot which is clearly him. I the shot at the end of Superman Returns with him flying through the clouds. The closeup of him was obviously CGI. Had me thinking why didn't they use Brandon himself.
Before Lois actually appeared I considered Chloe was Lana and Lana as Lois. The comics had Lana as a 'strawberry blonde/ginger' who was rash and sometimes impulsive getting herself into trouble which was exactly what Chloe was like. The comic Lois was a brunette and headstrong which the TV Lana was. It was confusing at times in the beginning which left me wondering whether the producers had made a mistake in the casting/naming of characters.
